We had a great time with Mike and Emily this past weekend. They came up to help celebrate my birthday and because we hadn't seen them since before Christmas! They got in on Thursday night, so we all went over to Oliver's hockey game. They lost pretty bad, but it's always entertaining to watch a bunch of overachieving MBA kids falling on their butt!
Friday the boys went to Killington while Emily and I worked and then Friday night we all went out to a pub in town for some yummy food and live music. Saturday we tried out snowshoeing at LL Bean. It was great because you rented the equipment and they sent you out with a guide for 2 hours to learn how to snowshoe. He took us all around a forested area in Lebanon. We saw deer prints, but no moose!
Murphy, Mike and Emily's Bernese Mountain Dog came, too, and had a great time playing in all the snow we have up here!
