Happy St. Patrick's Day

What a beautiful, warm and mostly sunny day! The parade in Galway was... interesting... Way less traditional than I thought it would be. We both sort of expected a lot of old guys playing pipes and flutes but it was a lot more, "If you have a costume, you're in!" which lead to everything from hare krishnas to a group of dancing cowboys. Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves either way along with what seemed like all the rest of Galway - it was packed!

After the parade, we made the short drive up to Ashford Castle, which is the beautiful place we're staying for the night. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
