Keep Minneapolis Weird

Whenever people here hear that I'm from the Portland area, they always try to draw comparisons between the cities ("I hear it's a great city for cycling, too!" or "Oh, I hear the craft brewing scene out there is great, too!") I usually just nod and smile because, though I love Minneapolis, let's be honest, folks, it's no Portland. I miss it there.

So imagine my surprise (delight?) upon reading the bio of the latest addition to our Neighborhood Steering Committee! The sheer Portland-ness of it made me feel right at home!
