Snow Day

What a difference a year makes! The difference between zipping up a four-month old into a full-body snowsuit and trying to coerce a toddler into longjohns, bib snowpants, boots, a coat, mittens and a hat (and then trying to get her to keep those things on) is immense. We lasted about ten minutes out there before the mittens weren't working for her anymore and the responsible parent in me decided that 24 degrees was too cold to be outside without mittens!

I think it's going to take a few more times before she gets it and starts to have fun in the snow, but fortunately we've got the next six months to practice :)
