Just as I was about to declare today the "ice out
date" for our yard (for you non-Northerners, this is the day when a
lake is officially ice-free... or 90% ice-free... or navigable by

Oh yeah, that's us. Right smack in the middle of the weatherman's "12++?" inch notation. So, in case you're wondering what the weather is like in Minnesota:
January: Terribly cold, in fact, too cold for snow
February: Miserably cold with a side of snow
March: Cold and wet and snowy
April: Not so cold but still wet and sometimes snowy
May: Pretty nice
June: Really nice
July: Hot and humid
August: Unbearably hot and humid
September: Hot and humid
October: Really nice
November: Getting kind of cold and snowy
December: Cold and snowy
