Nothing big to report... it's very gloomy today and it rained most of the night. It was raining hard when we first got up this morning, but it tapered off a little now. It's really boring on these days because it's not really ideal to go out for a walk or hike, so I'm kind of stuck inside. Most of the trails around the house that we walk on are dirt paths, so it can be a really muddy adventure to go on a day like this.
I have an interview this afternoon for a temporary job up at Dartmouth - just something to hold me through until my Tuck Admissions job starts in December. It'd be nice to have something set to do during the day and also it would just give me a little more of a day-to-day routine.
Oliver's been busy (surprise!), and moreso now that hockey has started. He plays twice a week, Wednesday and Sunday, and it seems like they're always playing at 10 or 11 pm. Not this coming weekend, but the following one, is the NSHMBA conference (Nat. Soc. of Hisp. MBAs) so he is trying to do a little leg work before the conference to really target the companies he wants to meet with. Also, he got his first mid-term back and was happy to have gotten an 80 on it (class average was 77).
We've got friends coming up this weekend and I think we're going to try to do apple/pumpkin picking so I'll try to get some pictures there. We miss everyone and hope you all are enjoying your fall!
