Our New Place

Well, we got the keys to our new place yesterday but it doesn't look like the movers will be here until Saturday. Bummer! I'm super-anxious to get moved in, not to mention that once we have our things, it'll give me something to do all day besides sit around and look for a job that's not related to cow-tending. Really, the jobs section in the Valley News definitely has multiple cow-care jobs like these:

HERDSPERSON For Williston Dairy with 300 nice cows, job includes herd health, afternoon milking, and record keeping. Excel. salary, benefits, 2 br home. Onan Whitcomb 802-879-6290

Yep. 300 nice cows.
Anyway, I thought I'd post some pictures of our empty new house, so at least you can see what it looks like, then sometime next week I'll be able to post pictures with all our stuff moved in. Here you go:

This is the living room area. The door on the right is the front door and the door on the left goes to the little deck on the side of the house.

At the back of the house is the dining room, which opens into the kitchen.

Upstairs is the bathroom, which is a ton bigger than our tiny little bathroom in Minneapolis:

There are two bedrooms upstairs, they're basically the same and they look like this:

Here's the bedroom from the other angle:

Then on the side of the house (here's the deck), we have a storage unit:

And then this is the Community Center, which is right by our house, too. It has study rooms and an area to host events with a big living room area and a kitchen. It's also where we get the mail.
