A Confession.
I feel very confident in nearly all kitchen-related situations, but I am really, really, really bad at making pancakes. Really bad. Every time I try to make them, Oliver has to take over.

1. try dutch baby pancakes. foolproof and no manning the stove. mmmm.
2. i try to make the batter and have jamie actually do the supervising and flipping. can't handle all that time standing over the hot pan.

Thanks - we'll give these a whirl next time. I bought a gallon of maple syrup at the farmers market before we left NH, so I forsee many pancakes for dinner nights in our future!
